What you will do:

- Provide clear operational direction and support, helping colleagues understand priorities and ensuring facilities activities run smoothly.
- Help ensure contractual commitments, operational standards and compliance requirements are consistently achieved, including performance against service level agreements and key performance indicators.
- Support high standards of health, safety and security for colleagues, customers, premises and equipment while working within the requirements of a secure custodial environment.
- Act as a key day-to-day contact for facilities operations, working collaboratively with the Facilities Manager, contractors, custodial colleagues and other FM disciplines and escalating risks or issues when needed.

What you will bring:

- Good organisational and time-management skills, with a proactive, adaptable and reliable approach to working in a busy operational environment.
- An understanding of risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work and wider Health & Safety compliance.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to use facilities work management systems to track and report activities.
Desirable
- An IWFM Level 4 or Level 5 qualification, or equivalent, or working towards one.
- Experience of working within a secure or highly regulated environment.
